This month marks downtown's first annual Leprechaun Walk!
Participating downtown stores and art galleries will each have their own leprechaun: it can be as simple as a print out of the infamous “leprechaun sketch,” a person dressed up, or an elaborate leprechaun made by an artist. These businesses will start displaying their leprechauns somewhere in their exhibit during ArtWalk week (March 7th to the 11th). Each business will have a list of the participating locations.

Participating downtown stores and art galleries will each have their own leprechaun: it can be as simple as a print out of the infamous “leprechaun sketch,” a person dressed up, or an elaborate leprechaun made by an artist. These businesses will start displaying their leprechauns somewhere in their exhibit during ArtWalk week (March 7th to the 11th). Each business will have a list of the participating locations.
There will be a raffle at the Mobile Arts Council at 8:45 PM on ArtWalk night (the 11th) for a "Pot O’ Gold" filled with prizes for anyone that has a "selfie" with the leprechaun from each Leprechaun Walk location - so make sure your phones are charged! Participants MUST BE PRESENT at the drawing to win the Pot O' Gold.
The goal of this event is to push crowds to visit galleries and stores they don't typically frequent... And to have fun!
